Humble Bundle for Android 3

[youtube_sc url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBg-MYObmas"]

Hello guys! Last Wednesday, I saw on Twitter that a new Humble bundle is now live! This bundle contains 5 games available for Android and PC. The following games are:

  • Fieldrunners - Take your towers on the offensive against an endless sprawl of baddies in this tower defense classic. Your goal is to keep your opponents from crossing the battlefield and taking you down. Populate everything in between with deadly towers and create intricate mazes to incinerate, freeze, laser, and electrocute your way to victory.
  • BIT.TRIP BEAT - A charming, retro-inspired music rhythm game. Players must deflect an onslaught of projectiles, each successful deflection resulting in a musical sound. Link ‘em together to get a rhythm going! Every move is crucial, as letting anything through will threaten to disrupt the beat
  • SpaceChem - Players take on the role of a Reactor Engineer, designing complex reactors that transform raw atoms into the complex chemicals needed to survive sinister threats on the frontier colonies of space.  It’s a maddeningly addictive puzzle game, and with the help of the built in level editor, it’s ensured that you’ll have plenty of challenging atomic manipulation at your fingertips. -This version is designed for tablet so better try out the demo first.
  • Uplink - Break into computer systems and nab valuable, secret information as you take on the role of a hacker for-hire in Uplink. The hacking gameplay in Uplink is textbook cyberpunk, complete with cracking software, credits, and nasty megacorporations. It's like a puzzle-adventure with all the action taking place between bits and bytes in cyberspace. -This version is designed for tablet so better try out the demo first.

If you buy this bundle more than the average price, you will also get this:

  • Spirits - In this beautiful puzzle-platformer, autumn has arrived and you must help the spirits of fallen leaves find their way home. With only indirect control at your fingertips, you must choose a few good spirits to build stairs, change wind flow, and act as guides for the rest of the spirits, making decisions that may ultimately sacrifice the few to save the many. This really feels like Lemmings, I love that game! -me
People may wonder why Humble Bundle make indie bundles for Android. I say why not? It's great! These games deserve more exposure! Also included are the soundtracks for all the games on this bundle!  I really hope there will be more indie bundle like this in the future so we can have more games on our Android devices.

Humble Indie Bundle V

Last night before I went to sleep, Totalbiscuit of CynicalBrit suddenly tweeted "@Totalbiscuit: If you like indie games you might wanna hold onto a bit of cash today. Something HUGE is coming". Then bam! An epic Humble Indie Bundle.

[youtube_sc url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwANFc7D1ac"]

This bundle is so far the best indie bundle this season, featuring 4 epic games and a new, quite promising indie title:

  • Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Frictional Games' first-person, survival horror masterpiece, pitting a weaponless protagonist against the darkest secrets of the castle he's trapped in. With an emphasis on puzzle-solving and maintaining sanity amidst unspeakable abominations, Amnesia's tense adventure breaks new ground for a well-loved, but challenging genre.
  • LIMBO - The captivating puzzle-platformer LIMBO is a modern classic, putting players in control of a boy's journey through a tense and hostile world. The protagonist is as fragile and hardy as you'd expect of a young kid, making for a novel and sometimes surprisingly intense adventure.
  • Psychonauts - Bears all the marks of a mad Tim Schafer/Double Fine creation: a zany premise, standout characters, and fun-above-all gameplay. You play as Raz, a psychically gifted kid at a summer camp-slash-training facility for mentalist super agents. When the camp falls to a dastardly deception, it's up to Raz to traverse through the minds of various camp characters to save himself and his friends.
  • Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP - Delivers a completely fresh adventure gaming experience, defying conventions to develop a unique kind of storytelling. The plot is unveiled in "sessions," each of which involves traveling through the countryside and solving puzzles and combat challenges. Every scene overflows with rich graphic and auditory details, featuring distinctive artwork by Superbrothers Inc. and music and sound design by Jim Guthrie.

If you pay at least $7.52 you will also get:

  • Bastion - Won over the gaming public with its incredible attention to every detail—from the tight combat controls, to the inspired, narrator-driven storytelling in a novel, post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Players take on the role of the Kid, entrusted with the thankless task of restoring the world after a disastrous calamity. With a none-too-small arsenal of stylized weapons, jaw-dropping art, and amazing music, Bastion truly deserves its reputation as a must-play indie game by Supergiant Games.

Although I already got these games (except Sword &am; Sworceryh, it's still a buy! Having these DRM-free and cross-platform games is great. Also, this bundle includes the soundtracks of all the games in the bundle (sweet! -ed). The summer sale is coming and yet these great indie bundles are already draining the gamers' wallets! I'm really excited to play Sword & Sworcery today. If you buy this bundle, you can either split the money between the developers, charities (EFF, Child's Play) or Humble Bundle, Inc. So, how about we give this bundle a try? (amen, brother! -ed)

The games included in the bundle are all made by Amanita Design, a small independent game developing studio based in the Czech Republic.

  • Botanicula - The latest and greatest example of Amanita Design's unique storybook vision brought to vivid fruition in a point-and-click adventure game.
  • Machinarium - Guide a heroic little robot on his quest to save his friends from a trio of bullies in a dilapidated machine city.
  • Samorost 2 - Guide a valiant gnome who must save his dog after it is abducted by a pair of fruit-stealing aliens.
Plus, if you pay more than $8.74 you will get
  • Windosill - A delightful point-and-click puzzle game built around odd visuals and surprising interactions.
  • Kooky - The Czech full-length feature film Kooky tells the tale of a stuffed bear on a quest to return home after being thrown away, featuring an imaginative blend of live-action sequences, stop motion, and puppet animation.

To get the Steam keys, you should pay more than $5. Also, if you buy these bundle, You will get the OST Album of these games!

I myself wanted to make some Flash games as a hobby, and I'm very happy to see these kinds of games released on Steam, GOG and other digital distributors. I also played Machinarium and I can't say anything but that game is a work of art! Great music, great art and great puzzles! All in all, Machinarium is a great point and click adventure game.

I'm expecting Botanicula to be great, if not better than anything they've released.  Buying this bundle will let you choose whether to give this to the developers, World Land Trust or to Humble Bundle, Inc.

Humble Bundle for Android 2

[youtube_sc url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apnN-H4G1Vg"] I forgot to share this to you guys but we've still got a week to be part of this! Humble Bundle just released another indie bundle for Android! This time you will get 5 games plus 3 music albums. The games included in the bundle are:

    • Canabalt - The sublime indie parkour platformer by Adam Saltsman. It involves running through a city during an alien invasion and jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

    • Zen Bound 2 - A ground-breaking, meditative puzzler that defies convention. Players are given a wooden figurine, which must be wrapped in twine through a process of creative rotation. The twine triggers splashes of paint that cover the ornament, and players are loosely rewarded for using as little twine as possible to cover the object.

    • Cogs - A much-lauded 3D puzzle game that gives the player mechanical structures that need to be fixed in order to function properly. The puzzles involve creating the right arrangement of gears, pipes, and other Victorian-esque technologies in order to strike bells, turn propellers, and channel steam.

    • Avadon: The Black Fortress - The RPG fantasy saga from Jeff Vogel's Spiderweb Software, an indie studio well-known for sprawling experiences and intricate plots. It layers on the best of classic RPG elements to create a true epic: four classes, hundreds of items, dozens of spells and abilities, secret quests, and multiple endings. In the Humble Bundle for Android 2, it's available for the first time on Linux and Android tablets. (Due to the intricate nature of the game, the Android version is tablet-only.)

If you pay more than the average price, you will also get:

    • Swords & Soldiers - A vibrant side-scrolling strategy game making a debut on Linux and Android in this promotion. The tight, balanced gameplay is perfect for gamers seeking a fun, casual, strategy experience. Players must spawn the right units to gather resources and overrun the opponent's base, and the included soundtrack will fill your headphones with the drama of battle. Three diverse factions, multiplayer, and challenge modes provide gobs of colorful gameplay if you beat the average!

Also, buying this bundle will allow you to distribute the payment to the developers, charities (EFF and Child's Play Charity), and Humble Bundle, Inc. What are you waiting for? You've still got 1 week! Get it now!
