This week we're looking at a couple of exciting August game releases with Payday 2 and Splinter Cell:Blacklist. The final two videos cover a 7 minute weekly discussion by Adam Sessler and a two man review of The Last of us by Polygon. Enjoy this week's Wideo Wednesday!
Hands-On with Payday 2! Details on Stealth, Classes, RPG Mechanics & New Heist Gameplay
We here at OMGeek are very much looking forward to Payday 2's release which promises some big upgrades over the last one. The sequel improves and expands on its predecessor a great deal, with plenty of new game mechanics including an add emphasis on stealth, character classes, weapon customization, and skill trees. Check out the trailer for more details.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist - "Transformation" trailer
Check out this trailer for the latest rendition of Splinter Cell where a new gameplay mechanic called "killing in motion" allows you to highlight targets and kill them in quick succession while on the move. This is a direct sequel to Splinter Cell: Conviction. Release date is set for August 20.
Why Are You A Fanboy? Plus, Will We See More Cheap Games in the Next-Gen? SESSLER'S ...SOMETHING
Adam Sessler's weekly video series "Sessler's Something" reflects on the seemingly-unavoidable fanboyism that seems to permeate through almost every discussion on the internet. Adam talks about whether game prices are dropping faster than ever, and how that might affect the next-generation's digital distribution.
Cooperatives: The Last Of Us
Man I wish I owned a PS3 so I could play this game. Unfortunately I'm caught in between console releases and I'll be sticking to my gaming PC and will probably end up waiting for a PS4 for those exclusives. Next best thing? Probably either watch Let's Play videos or check out this video by Polygon which explores the world of The Last Of Us.
Have I missed any other interesting this last week? What did you think of my picks? Leave a comment and let me know, I’d love to hear from you.
