Staring at Screens episode 17: Global Game Jam Games

Staring at Screens episode 17 is out! (And they give us a friendly shout-out!)

This week’s main topic is something near and dear to my heart: the Global Game Jam. As we move further and further into an era that continually breaks down the division between content creators and consumers, we’re going to see more of this sort of thing happening. And it’s great and scary and unbelievably awesome. And that's not even all the SAS crew talks about this week! Listen to episode 17 now.

From their show notes:

On this week’s episode have we got news for you! Namely Nintendo ruling out any Wii U price cut in the near future, Sony’s highly anticipated 20 Feb announcement (read: PS4), rumored PS4 specs (no backwards compatibility!) and the release dates for SimCity and GTA V. In other news, Joel also waxes lyrical about 17-Bit’s Skulls of The Shogun, Lisa educates us about Pixel People by LambdaMu Games, and Dave introduces us to Ryan Evans‘ fishy masterpiece Cod of Duty.
