[OMGk] Guild House Cleaning
It's been almost 3 weeks (since G-day. Guild day? Goat day? -ed) and the Goat Knights have been growing steadily. We’ve had tons of fun playing together in PvE and WvWvW sessions. Ultimately, however, our goal is not to be the biggest guild around, but to have a tight-knit community where everybody knows your name (yes, just like that TV show). Starting today, we will be introducing some guidelines for all committed [OMGk] guild members. Please observe all the following guidelines to ensure that you will have a great experience playing as a member of the Goats.
Guild members should do the following:
Fill up the Guild Roster Form (Click to go to the form) This will include you in the official [OMGk] guild roster. Since some of the members use different in-game names from their forum or Steam name, this will help answer the question of who's who within the community.
Be on the Gate of Madness Server For obvious reasons, we want you to stay in the server where the guild resides. We do not earn any influence if you continue to stay on another server, and nor can you play with us in World vs World.
Representing the Guild We would like to require all members to "represent" the Goat Knights. As mentioned, we do not plan to be huge guild, but we do need everyone's help with contributing influence. Guild space is a premium, limited resource and our current ideal member cap is 100. If you're a guild member, please represent and contribute to our shared success.
Staying active on the forums As I mentioned earlier, we want to promote the sense of community and one of the ways of staying in touch with the community is reading and participating in the forums. We will also be announcing guild and community related events through this medium. Please reply to attendance threads for guild events whether you are attending or not so we'll know how many people to expect.
Plus, subscribing to our social media outlets is also a good way to keep connected with the OMGeek community.
Participating in Guild Events In the near future, we will be organizing guild related events and we would like to encourage all guild members to participate (what's a guild without social events?). While we will not be counting attendance or anything, we'd like this to be your initiative as a guild member.
We will give all guild members until September 17, 2012 to fulfill the first 3 requirements. After this date, we will commence culling inactive members from the guild. They are free to ask for an invite to the guild again, but they will go through a screening process this time around.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
From your guild leader, INQUE Clawing
