I decided to roll on Gate of Madness too, with some of my GW1 guildies.

I picked a random one. We can settle on the official OMGk server a little closer to early start.

The final BWE was great for me but we need to think this through since we will be locked into our server at launch. There is an "Oceanic" server, but we might be better served with a realm highly populated in our timezone and in our off time for WvWvW purposes. I only have one friend going into GW2 so I am free to go wherever.

If the beta servers are the same, I say we choose Fort Aspenwood or Yak's Bend. If I count correctly we should have a core group of 7-8 people from OMGk alone. We should all petition our online friends to make their server selection match ours, especially if we have friends in other timezones. It will be a lot easier for us to hold objectives and succeed at W3 if we always have reserves available.

Since guilds can be cross world, we can hold "slots" for our friends who go to other servers and then offer to reimburse their transfer purchase once they come over and contribute for a given period. We should act hard and fast to establish ourselves in the launch rush.

I say we go where the big SEA guilds go. Since I feel like we will be more aptly considered a "small" guild, it will be better if we stick with those in our own timezone so we can group with the "big" ones. Problem is they probably haven't decided as well (much like what happened with the Filipino ones) so we will be waiting until just before the 3 day headstart if we go this route.

I can't wait! I already miss my characters.

Yeah and I am worried about us getting separated without a firm plan. I think their is an "official" oceanic server for launch so maybe we find which that is.
