Crusader Kings II learning thread
Welcome to the Crusader Kings II learning thread! I intend to turn this thread into a universal repository for CK2 guides, tutorials, and how-tos. I'll be working on it further as free time will permit, but for now, allow me to present some links that I found very helpful in learning how to play the game.
- SeeKayEm's CK2 guide for newbies - The sound quality isn't the greatest, but this is a very informative series.
- Tek's tutorial series for CK2 - Another good tutorial video series. I discovered this first but I'm currently concentrating on SeeKayEm's videos.
- How the Hell Do We Play Crusader Kings 2? - The thread calls itself an "instructional LP". I'd like to call it stuff that should have been in the manual and the tutorial in the first place. Check this out for an easy-to-follow primer for the game.
- Meneth's guide on Reddit - A staggeringly thorough guide that I haven't read through completely yet.
- The Crusader Kings 2 wiki - The organization is somewhat confusing, but there's some helpful info here.
- House d'Hauteville - This site touches upon many of the same topics covered in the above links, but with some new insights and advice. It's also a blog that occasionally has commentary on the changes made with every CK2 patch.
Post any other helpful CK2-related links you may know about here! If you have any questions about the rules and systems of the game, this is the thread to post in, and not the other thread. 8)
