Facebook invests in underwater cable infrastructure for Asia

Mr. Zuckerberg must be really loaded to investing in a project such as this.

I'm hoping that this will also create better peering with everyone in the region in the near future

Its not just facebook, there are massive underwater cabling projects going on. NTT Com just built a datacenter and is running a few new cables from Singapore to around the region.
