OMGeek is going to Casual Connect Asia!
Casual Connect Asia is happening, and we'll be there to cover it! James and Jed (that's me!) will be in Singapore to attend all three days of Casual Connect, which runs from May 19 to 21, 2015.
Casual Connect is the place to learn more about an industry which entertains 300 million people each month. Learn all about iPhone, Social, Android, Flash, Browser MMO and Download Games.
Talks and panels will be going on simultaneously in three separate halls, covering topics ranging from advertising and marketing for games, to case studies of successful games and projects, to managing creative teams both small and large. It's an examination of all the business and soul of creating games, spread out across three days and more than a hundred lectures.
Casual Connect Asia is also the host to the Indie Prize Asia 2015 showcase:
Indie Prize is a scholarship program for up and coming indie development teams who show promise to be future leaders in the games industry. Workshops, showcase venue fees and mentoring are financially supported by industry sponsors, conferences and volunteers.
You can read more about Indie Prize here.
Would that we could split ourselves amoeba-like and attend every single event, but we'll be experiencing as much of it as we could! I'll be the guy behind the giant cloud of dust, typing up a storm about everything we see.
And hey -- if you'll be at Casual Connect yourself, let us know! We're always happy to meet fellow gamer-type people and make new friends.
